There’s nothing like a giant pot of fresh steamed crab, drawn butter, and a little tabasco sauce. This local species is caught less than 10 miles off the shores of San Diego by Andy and Charlie Saraspe. If you aren’t into heavy lifting, you can purchase just the claws and legs -- they’re perfect to pop in the freezer and eat later. Each four-pound package of whole crab includes roughly 4-5 crabs each. (Check out our recipe for a fancy Tabasco Butter Sauce!)
