If you’ve never tasted a California King Crab, you are truly missing out. This is one of our most specialty products, and it is always the first item to sell out at farmers markets. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, it is the most delicate, sweet, incredible crab meat ever. They are only caught in Southern California in extremely deep water. The colder the water the sweeter the crab. There is no fishery for them as they are only caught as a limited-keep bycatch species with a legal limit of 15 pounds per day. We’re not saying this item is exclusive to us, but you might have a challenging time finding them elsewhere. Each package contains one whole crab, about 1-1 ½ pounds on average.
